Hudson Valley Herbals receives NYS Cannabis Processor License

Moranda Bromberg, CEO of Hudson Valley Herbals and H Valley Inc, was awarded a Tier 1 Processor license at the Cannabis Control Board Meeting on October 10th. The company was awarded NY State license OCMPROC-2023-000048.

“This win comes after years of planning, researching, site testing and many setbacks. There remains a lengthy process until we can open our doors but this is the first major step,” she said.

Initially, Hudson Valley Herbals will focus on the build out of its processing and manufacturing facility using cannabis products cultivated by local growers. The facility will be located at the 140-acre site of a former dairy and sweet corn farm at the southern end of the Town of Wawarsing.

The company’s products will feature sustainable sun-grown cannabis with lower potency levels and products which have both CBD and THC.

Both Moranda Bromberg and her husband Zach Baum have resided in the Wawarsing area since 2017 and are deeply committed to supporting and uplifting the community, both economically and socially.

The company expects to create 25-50 jobs locally, scaling up over time. The campus still aims to be at least 50% alternative energy-powered, utilizing solar and geo-thermal systems. The company hopes to expand its business to include cultivation in the future, when permitted by the state.
